Thrust Stage
- Actors can be seen at more angles.
- More immersive for audience.
- Sight lines for audience can be compromised.
Traverse Stage
- Increased audience space
- More space for actors
- Can be easier to create different scenes, through the space
e.g I Love You Because, Hard Times (personal project)
Round/Arena
- Trucks used for stage (movable sceneary)
- Some theatres may have tracks to allow this
- Sightlines
Proscenium End-On Theatre – similar to Procenium though the stage is not raised.
- End on – will often have a rake to allow for sight lines.
- Usually consistant sightlines
- Easiest to stage for and work with.
