Steel decking is a portable and modular system of creating stages. They have various legs which can be clamped in place to make a plethora of set designs. They are commonly 2.44m x 1.22m. This appears a strange number as they have been transposed from imperial to metric.This is in actual fact 8′ x 4′ which is a veery common size in bulding construction virtually every flat piece of panel play, chipboard, plaster board comes in these sizes.
Steel decking is constructed from steel supports along the base and then plywood on top. As mentioned you can achieve different heights by using different legs.
