Production Meetings

We tried to have weekly production meetings in regards to what tasks had been done and any actions that needed to be undertook. As i have mentioned elsewhere I was part of the lighting team but we did have defined roles with each team which we assertained before the first full production meeting. These roles were as follows

Year 2 and Year 1 Roles Lighting Team

All to input on design
Use gel 156 for Public 9
Prep
1st years cut and prep gels
2nd years Pre Programme scenes
2nd years write focus notes
Performance
2nd years operate and cue
1st year shadow 1 per show
As can been seen from reading the production notes and my list of responsibilties I would become more involved with the lighting side of hings as the show got nearer. In actual fact it was 2 weeks before show time that I really got involved as that was when things were finally getting finalised. As such i became a floating memeber of the crew helping out where necessary, I will not go into details here but my inoput will be found throught the rest of this blog.
